Ffion

Meet Ffion. She is an actress and an avid horse rider. Here is our interview with Ffion…

How old are you?
I am 24 years old.

How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a kind and loving person. I am joyful, hardworking and caring.

What do you do for fun?
For fun….l really like, swimming, bowling and going to the cinema and of course…HORSE RIDING !!

Why do you enjoy horse riding?
I love learning all about horses, how to care for them, not just riding. I really like the friendship you can have with a horse, they are very clever, too.

Could you tell us a bit about your time acting in ‘Mission Control’ with the National Theatre of Wales (NTW)?
My time with NTW was an amazing opportunity. The chance to work with other actors from NTW in a really exciting production. l was really happy to have a big speaking part.

We heard that you have a screen test for an upcoming TV show! What do you enjoy most about acting?
l really love acting, it’s my passion and it makes me so happy to do it. At Hijinx we do script work and play back theatre, too – it’s great!

Are there any difficult parts to acting?
I don’t find anything about acting too difficult. Lots of rehearsals help and good people to act with help you, as well.

We saw some photos of you at Buckingham Palace. Why were you there and did you meet any royals?
I curtsied to the Queen. She wasbeautiful, dressed in green. I was invited because of the work I have done in showing what people with Down’s Syndrome can do. I won a local award for the Year and I was the local paper’s Ambassador for Llanelli. I won against, Huw Edwards and the rugby ref, Nigel Owens. I wanted to prove that we can do anything if we set our minds to it and have support.

What do you do to relax?
To relax l love the soaps and crime drama. I’d love to be in Casualty or Corrie or Emmerdale, that would be epic!

What are you looking forward to in 2020?
I am looking forward to new acting projects with Hijinx and more acting opportunities and to getting my new pony out competing!

Is there anything else you would like to add or any advice for our readers?
My advice is …if you want to do something…go for it ! Show the world what you can do andalways have fun.
