We have a number of fantastic walks and treks across the country ranging in distance from 25km – 100km.

Walk, jog or run the distance that works for you.

 London Winter Walk: 27 & 28 January

A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime! There are Full Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K options, both starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 January, and take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks. Families are welcome, there’s a free winter bobble hat & neck buff, rest stops with snacks, with a special medal and hot food at the finish.
Whether it’s to enjoy an active day out with friends or colleagues, or to maintain a New Year fitness regime – there’s a London Winter Walk for you! Join as an Individual or as a team, and raise funds for the Down’s Syndrome Association along the way.

Easter 50 Challenge: 6 April

Walk, Jog, or Run a 50km Ultra or take on the 25km half challenge – and make it an active Easter.

From our Windsor Racecourse base camp 1500 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of Windsor Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and takes in some wonderful countryside. You’ll get full support all the way, a few post Easter surprises, a celebration finish at base camp, and a BBQ meal. It’s a great way to kick off the 2024 Ultra Challenge season, and to get in shape for summer.

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. Isle of Wight Challenge: 4 – 5 May

Great challenges need great settings – and none are better than the Island’s coastal path. 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels will walk, jog or run the Isle of Wight Challenge in 2024 – and go all out to push themselves further. You can pick your distance, with 10 mile, quarter, half and the full 106km challenge to choose from!

It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to the cliffs of Ventnor, and back to our welcome Base Camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with half & quarter Island options also – there’s an Isle of Wight Challenge for everyone!

Jurassic Coast challenge: 18 – 19 May

 

Join 3,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages and Walk, Jog or Run the spectacular Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site. Choose from the full 100km challenge, 75km, a 50km half challenge, a 25km quarter, Jurassic Marathon or even a 10km distance. Starting from Corfe Castle, the route heads to Swanage, then along to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth halfway point.

For 100km challengers – it’s past Portland Bill, nature reserves, along the western end of Chesil Beach to West Bay’s famous cliffs, before a finish line celebration in vibrant Bridport. With full support and great hospitality all the way – there’s a challenge here for everyone!

London 2 Brighton challenge: 25 – 26 May

2,000 adventurers of all experience levels & ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the Bank Holiday weekend. You can choose to walk, jog or run your choice of distance, from the full 100km, three-quarter 75km, or a half or quarter options. There’s a challenge for everyone. This event is part of the Ultra Challenge Series – 16 great events where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance in the UK’s most iconic locations!

A Richmond start in Old Deer Park – then the North Downs and wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The full challenge heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.

Lake District Challenge: 8 – 9 June

Walk, Jog, or Run the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Choose your distance – the full challenge Kendal loop, or a half challenge, quarter challenge, 10km or our new Lake District Marathon distance. Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge – suitable for all experience levels – and you’ll get the best support & hospitality all the way.

Our Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal. From there it’s a full challenge anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills to Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves – with some stunning views en route – before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey. Push yourself further in the stunning Lake District!

Cotswold Way Challenge: 22 – 23 June

The magical Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge – with some fantastic views en route and tough hills in between! Our base-camp in Cirencester is the hub for a full challenge looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, which provides a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves.

There are rolling hills, villages, the magical Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with some fabulous views en route – and a few tough hills in between! You’ll get full support & hospitality, including optional university style accommodation at our base-camp.

Choose from the full challenge, three-quarter challenge, half challenge, or quarter distance option. We also offer a 10km or 10mile route as an intro to this challenge.

Peak District Challenge: 6 – 7 July

Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run, and all will receive the famous ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – which enables you to push yourself further and achieve something really special!

From the Bakewell basecamp the full 100 km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House, and on through varied terrain on a figure of 8 route with a few testing climbs, and some stunning views. With half (~50km), quarter (~25km) & 10 mile challenge options also available, plus optional camping packages at basecamp – there’s an unforgettable Ultra Challenge weekend for everyone in the Peaks!

north downs 50 challenge: 27 July

We’re heading to the North Downs with a fabulous challenge setting out from our Guilford basecamp. Choose your distance, and walk, jog or run the full looped 50km route, a 25km half challenge, or even the Guildford 10km. Take in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. A route with real variety and some wonderful scenery & views – and easily accessible from London – there’s a North Downs 50 Challenge for everyone!

South West Coast 50 challenge: 3 August

Walk, Jog, or Run the ‘South West’ challenge for 2024 – taking in the first Minehead section of the stunning & famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. You can pick your distance. The full 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support all the way to the finish, and with three 25 km options also, plus a family friendly Dunster 10km event – along with camping options & festival style hospitality at basecamp across the weekend – there’s a South West Coast Challenge for everyone! London Summer Walk: 24 August

Get active & explore some of the Capital’s historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section.

Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks (short walk from the new Elizabeth Line station!) – our 25 km looped route heads through Charlton, along the Thames Path around the Greenwich Peninsula – past the O2, Old Royal Naval College & the fabulous Cutty Sark. Then it’s through the Greenwich foot tunnel and into Docklands – past the Thames Barrier Park and back to Woolwich via the 2nd foot tunnel.

A route steeped in history with iconic sights, and capped with a BBQ & bar at the finish – making for a wonderful end of summer
celebration!

South Coast Challenge: 7 – 8 September

Take on some of England’s finest scenery as a Walk, Jog, or a Run! An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail with stunning views over the sea to a Brighton mid-point. Devil’s Dyke, welcome rest stops, a few ups & downs all lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an 100km amazing journey.

There are 50km half challenge and 25km quarter challenge options too – so make it your challenge, your way!

Thames Bridges Trek: 14 September

Join 2000 trekkers as we venture 25km across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points.

Setting out from Putney Bridge – it’s East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges – each with its fascinating story – and a midpoint stop at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it’s a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge.

Thames path challenge: 14 – 15 September

Take on the Thames Path Challenge following England’s greatest river. Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves.

Our full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With 75km three-quarter, 50km half challenge, or 25km challenge options – there’s a challenge for everyone. Your challenge will be a test of spirit and determination. You’ll be supported all the way by our team, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement. This event is part of the Ultra

Chiltern 50 Challenge: 28 September

This 50km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside. You can Walk, Jog, or Run along historic trails and over rolling hills. Starting & finishing at our Base Camp in Henley Showground, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ & entertainment with camping options. This event is part of the Ultra Challenge Series – 16 great events where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance in the UK’s most iconic locations!

Passing through nature reserves, forests, and a few hills with great views – it’s a route with real variety, and some wonderful scenery – and it’s all easily accessible from London.

With 25km & 10km options also – there’s a Chiltern Challenge here for everyone!

London Halloween Walk: 26 October

Why not treat yourself to a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts? Choose your distance, with 25km and 10km options, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval start & finish will meet, greet & shock.

Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off home. Join as an Individual or as a team, and do it for yourself and self fund, or support one of our Charity Partners with much needed fundraising.
