One of the days I always look forward to is Mum’s birthday which was last Friday.
She had lots of flowers, cards and some really nice presents.
My sister Amy brought around some pastries and we all had breakfast in the garden. While we were eating my other sister Lorraine arrived, she had driven down from Warwickshire just for the day. We were all delighted.
Another big surprise was that my brother Richard had arranged a celebration meal at a restaurant in Wimbledon Village for Saturday evening. The whole evening was fantastic. Mum was absolutely thrilled. I had my first ever cocktail, it was called a Pink Bellini and it was very moreish.
After all the excitement the last couple of days have seemed rather quiet.
