A lovely way to celebrate | Kate’s blog

My birthday lunch went well. Eight friends came around. After eating we all danced and socialised and had a great time.

I had just made a short video inviting people to register for the World Down Syndrome Congress that is being held this November.

Today I bought a large pumpkin which I will carve and try to put on a scary face ready for Halloween. On the day, we will put a lit candle inside and place it outside the front door. Usually local children will call and we will give them treats.

If the weather is okay, we will have a BBQ with sausages, bread rolls and hot soup.

Stay safe everybody and have a spooky Halloween. Kate
