What I’ve been doing this summer

by Kate Powell, Down2Earth Magazine editor

Hello I am Kate…I’m here to talk about the summer holidays that I have  been on.

I went to Kosovo with the Larandina dance group. It went very well.

We performed on stage and met some friendly people.

I also went to Bognor Regis with the Baked Bean group to a caravan holiday for one week, Monday to Friday. We had a great time together.

We had activities like visiting the seaside, the wetlands centre, entertainment in the evenings…we all had a great time

My last holiday will be next week. I’m going to Cheltenham in Gloucestershire with a Salvation Army group. I am looking forward to it. It’s for one week, we will be doing activities like singing, dancing acting and being creative.

We’d love to hear about your summer holidays!

Send us a picture, write about what you’ve been up to, or tell us about your favourite place to visit and you could be in a future issue of The Journal.
