Staying well at home | Kate’s blog

by Kate Powell, Down2Earth Magazine editor

I live with my parents. We are fortunate that we have a garden.

This week I have spent a lot of time outside.

Sweeping leaves, collecting spare pots and cutting back old plants.

I expect I will be finding a lot more to do next week and enjoy being outside.

Each day I have practiced my dance routine as well as exercising to music. Today I am going on a walk with my Mum.

Friday is my Dad’s birthday. A big family party was planned but because of the coronavirus, there will be just three of us.

Stay safe everybody, stay positive, stay rested, we will get through this. It is good to stay active, do what you can do in the house, try and have fun, try and be positive throughout. I hope you enjoy what you are doing and learning everyday.
