On Monday it was my nephew, Jonathan’s 18th birthday. We visited the house to celebrate the occasion. We had a lovely meal and toasted him with a glass of bubbly. The birthday cake was in the shape of a figure 18. It was layered and covered with light and dark chocolate and strawberries. It tasted fantastic! Amongst the presents he received was a quilt that had been designed and made by my sister Lorraine. He was delighted with this and as he is off to university we are sure he will take it with him. As we live quite close to Wimbledon, it has been very busy with tennis fans. The weather has not been very good, lets hope it brightens up for the weekend. Stay safe everybody, Kate
