It’s been a memorable Easter over the holiday weekend. My sister and brother have visited at different times and because the weather has been nice, we were able to have lunch in the garden socially distanced of course! I was very pleased to see them. I really wanted to give them a big hug, but sadly, that’s not allowed at the moment.
On Easter Sunday, we attended a service at our local church; it’s been over a year since we last visited. It was good to be there! The choir sang beautifully. I had made an Easter card for mum and dad and gave them a bar of chocolate each as an Easter present. For myself, I was given several Easter eggs!
There is still lots of work to be done in the garden, my job this week is to paint a wooden homemade planter!
