Ava inspires charity choice for art auction

Every year, workplace design company Oktra holds an annual art show where they invite people of all ages and experiences to submit a piece of their artwork to be auctioned off for charity. This year, the auction will raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA).

We were put forward by Sam who works at the company, as he has a daughter called Ava who has Down’s syndrome.

Sam says: ‘Our hopes for the art show are to get as many people as possible involved in a fun and creative way to raise money for the DSA, while increasing awareness of what the organisation does and how it supports so many families’.

Sam tells us more about Ava here.

About the auction:

You can see all the pieces of art – from painted glass to charcoal drawings and bright abstract pieces – through this Facebook album link. You can also see them in person by visiting the Oktra offices at 6 St Cross Street, London.

There has been more than 250 entries, so there’s bound to be something that takes your eye.

How to bid:

You can bid by sending an email to bids@oktra.co.uk referencing the details of the piece you would like to buy and of course, how much you are willing to pay for it.

When does it finish:

Get your bids in by 5pm on  Mon 30 November for a chance to win some great new art in time for Christmas!
