DSActive Training Evening Session
Monday 26 February 2024 | 6.30 – 8pm | FREE
This free, online training session is for providers of leisure, recreational and sports activity sessions, such as Scout groups, sports clubs, drama groups and craft clubs etc.
Training will provide an understanding of Down’s syndrome. The training will allow participants to explore how best to overcome barriers and open doors to the participation and inclusion of children and adults who have Down’s syndrome.
Providers of all types of sessions are welcome to attend DSActive training, e.g. providers of inclusive sessions (open/mixed ability), Down’s syndrome specific sessions, pan disability, learning disability etc.
This session is not intended for early years practitioners, teachers/LSA’s or parents/carers of children/adults who have Down’s syndrome.
If you are a parent/carer and you work/volunteer at an activity session this training session will not increase your knowledge, as DSActive training provides an understanding of Down’s syndrome at an introductory level.
