Two weeks ago we visited some old friends who all have been double vaccinated so we all felt quite safe.
So we were surprised when a week later we received a phone call from our friends saying that two of the family had tested positive for Covid-19.
We went to a local chemist and picked up home testing kits. We read the instructions very carefully and carried out the tests. Much to our relief the tests were negative and we will do a repeat test later this week.
This week I have gone back to my normal activities; my injured leg seems to be holding up very well.
