Strolling through parks | Kate’s Blog

For our main exercise this week, we went on two long walks.

First we spent three hours exploring Battersea park and walking around a large lake that had lots of wildlife. It was a very hot day so we treated ourselves to large ice creams.

On Sunday we went to Pembroke Lodge which is a historic building and gardens that lay in Richmond Park. We spent some time admiring beautiful flower beds and lawns. We came across a hill which is called King Henrys Mount. On top of the Mount there is a telescope and if this is pointed in the right direction you can see right across London to the dome of St. Pauls Cathedral! It is 10 miles away! It was amazing!

Stay safe,

Love Kate
