With my fellow dancers in our group called Energy Beans, we created a play called A Piece of Mind.
We presented the play at the Putney Arts Theatre for two evening performances last week.
The story follows Picasso’s Weeping Woman as the art gallery comes to life in her dreams and as each famous painting appears she explores her own emotions and learns how to express herself through art and movement.
On both evenings we performed in front of a packed audience who were fantastic. We received lots of applause from them.
As a reward for our hard work, the group are going on a trip to Brighton to visit the Van Gogh Alive Exhibit at The Dome.
Hopefully, we will have fish and chips for lunch on the beach!
