Lily thrilled to see her card sold across the world

Last year, 19-year-old Lily wrote to us about the gorgeous Christmas cards she had started making during lockdown. Fast forward a year, and one of her designs – Lily’s snowman – is selling to people across the world on the Down Syndrome Association (DSA) website.

“I am sooo happy to be helping my favourite charity the Downs Syndrome Association this Christmas! I cannot believe my snowman Christmas card is being sold all over the world. I am making more Christmas cards and have already sold over 200. Happy Christmas everyone love Lily xxx”

Lily embarked upon her marathon Christmas card making during lockdown last year, raising more than £400 for the DSA. This year, she has continued to make homemade cards and has raised more than £250.

“We loved Lily’s card as soon as we saw it and we knew we wanted to get it printed so that everybody could have the chance to buy one. We are immensely grateful to Lily for the time and effort she has put into making cards and fundraising for us. We hope she has enjoyed making the cards as much as our supporters have enjoyed sending them.” Down’s Syndrome Association
