As I mentioned in last week’s blog, I had a special treat planned.
This week on Wednesday I went to the National Theatre to see a musical play call The Witches. This was based on a book by the famous author called Rohl Dahl. The play was funny and witty and sometimes scary. The characters were very believable, and the singing and dancing was excellent. When the final curtain came down the audience stood up to give a standing ovation.
I gave the show five stars! I recommend you read the original book if you can.
I must now get down to writing the last of my Christmas cards.
