Now it is May and the weather is getting warmer, everything in the garden is growing fast, especially the weeds. The next couple of weeks are going to be the busiest of the year. So my dad and I sat down and made a list of things to do in the garden. Firstly the grass needs to be cut and there is lots of weeding to do. We have been growing tomatoes from seeds on our window sills and they are almost ready to plant outside.
Last year was a disaster as we lost all of our plants through blight. We hope we will be luckier this year. We also have runner beans and courgettes that need to be planted out soon. Our garden shed is looking a bit sad and needs a coat of paint! Lastly our garden gate needs replacing. So you can see we won’t have much time to sit and enjoy the sunshine!
