Earlier this year, Dom set himself a fantastic Challenge 21 to raise money for the DSA…he was going to complete 21 litter picks!
Dom has kindly answered a few questions for us about himself and his #Challenge21.
Thank you so much for completing such a wonderful Challenge 21! Why did you choose to do 21 litter picks?
I started doing litter picks during lockdown and have carried on ever since. I do work experience with Keep Manchester Tidy, and this month is the Great British Spring Clean, so it was good to do that, at the same time as my Challenge.

How much did you raise and/or how much litter did you collect all together?
I raised over £1000 and I collected over 30 bags of litter.
What is the strangest thing you found while you were doing a litter pick?
I found a big TV one day. I couldn’t carry it, but we let the council know where it was.
We love the video you made about your litter picks…tell us about the music?
I made this song with my friend Tom. We have been making music together for a long time and I have made two albums and done some gigs. The Litter Business is my army of litter pickers.
What hobbies/sports/activities do you enjoy?
l do art, drama and music. My stained glass portrait of the Monday Night Messiah (aka wrestler Seth Rawlins) is currently on display as part of the Manchester Open exhibition at HOME.
I love going to the theatre and the cinema and to concerts. I like to watch wrestling on TV and in real life when I can. I enjoy listening to rap and hip hop. I support Manchester United and go to games sometimes.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I am looking forward to doing my next gig with Tom later this month. I am going to see Little Shop of Horrors soon, it is my favourite musical. I am going on a cruise this summer with my mum.
Who is your hero? Who do you admire? Who would you like to meet?
I don’t like heroes, I always like the villains!
My favourite wrestlers are The Judgement Day – I would love to meet them. I would also like to meet Eminem, my favourite rapper.
