With Christmas approaching, there is much work to do.
There are cards to be written, there are presents to buy, the tree is to be fitted with lights and a fairy on top.
Outside the shops are busy with shoppers eager to buy. There is music and Christmas lights everywhere.
The laughter of children visiting Santa in his grotto.
There is peace in the church as we stand by the crib.
Outside in the cold the choir sing my favourite carols.
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year.
