The weather last week was a mixture of heavy rain and sunshine. Luckily last Thursday, the sun shone and I was so glad as the Baked Bean Company were having their annual garden party and BBQ.
I was very happy to attend, with the aid of my walking stick. I met friends I haven’t see apart from on Zoom since the start of lockdown.
It was great meeting and talking to them face to face. We had a lot to catch up on; it was a great afternoon!
On Monday I had an appointment with a doctor at the hospital to check on the treatment of my injured leg. By the time I waited for a X-ray and blood test, most of the day had gone. I am now on new medication.
One of the benefits of lots of rain is that it makes the garden look lovely and lush.
