I had a great Christmas and managed to see all of my family and I have some lovely presents.
We celebrated the New Year by watching the fireworks on TV and toasted the year in with a glass of bubbly and sang Auld Lang Syne.
How many of you attended the virtual New Years disco on Saturday? I did! It was run by DSEngage and was lots of fun…so keep an eye out for future events.
Do you still have your Christmas tree up? We always take ours down on the Twelth Night which is today, as of writing. As soon as I finish this blog I will help take down the tree and pack it away.
This always makes me feel sad as the celebrations are over and the room looks dull without the twinkly lights.
We must look forward to the coming year so I would like to wish you all happy exciting and safe 2022.
