I had a wonderful day last Saturday. I had a surprise visit from some friends from my dancing group we haven’t met for over a year. They had heard about my condition and decided to call to give me their support. They brought with them some scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream, so we all had afternoon tea in the garden, it was scrumptious. They also brought with them a wheelchair and insisted they push me to the local park and lake, which was teeming with wildlife. It was such a lovely sunny afternoon we stayed for several hours I am so lucky to have such good and caring friends It was a wonderful day that will stay in my memory for many years.
