It has been a busy and eventful couple of weeks. The Baked Bean Company street party was a great success, especially the Zumba dancing. Even local passers-by joined in!
A couple of days later, I went to stay for a week’s holiday with some friends who lived in Norwich. The weather was glorious and sunny. We spent the next few days visiting local beauty spots. We went to a horse and donkey reserve called Redwings. Another day we had lunch at a riverside café and watched the boats cruising past. My favourite was the visit to the magnificent Norwich cathedral.
Sadly, I developed a nasty cold so I was tested for Covid-19 and the test turned out to be positive. This meant I had to stay for several more days and self-isolate. On returning home I was tested and a few days later and the test was negative. So I am now back in action fighting fit.
