Space Capsules and Sunny Days | Kate’s Blog

A woman stands by a large clump of arum lilies. There are lots of green glossy leaves and white trumpet-like flowers. The woman has Down's syndromeThe good news is that they are beginning to relax the lockdown.

I hope that in the coming weeks my brothers and sisters will be able to meet in the garden, keeping their social distancing of course! We are very lucky to have a garden; lots of people came on Saturday and went into the garden and looking up at the space capsule, slowly moving across the night sky. It was heading towards the international space station. It was just a small speck of white light.

On Sunday morning we went for a long walk in our local park. It was lovely and a sunny day; the park was very crowded but most people were keeping their distances. I’ve also kept in touch with my dance and drama group via Zoom which has been marvellous for keeping in contact with friends and tutors.

Stay safe everybody,

Love Kate
