Sisterhood by Noa

This beautiful picture is called Sisterhood and was created by Noa, 12 years old, prisma colours on A3 paper. The picture is a portrait of her sister Teigan.

Noa says:

‘For this piece I really wanted to make a portrait that was special and personal to me. This is a portrait of my 10-year-old sister called Teigan who has Down’s syndrome, but as we like to call it ‘Up syndrome!’ Teigan is so important to me and so I tried to create a portrait that is as special as her. I focused on capturing her emotion by using bright reds, oranges, and yellows.’

Noa has entered her lovely picture into the The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition for young people. We wish you all the very best Noa and thank you for sharing the picture with us.
