This year, two winners from our My Perspective photography competition were lucky to receive a brand new Nikon camera as their prize.
Natalie Stevanus from Canada won the Judges’ Choice Award for her moving image entitled Companionship (below), so we posted out her prize – which was kindly donated to us from Nikon. Her mum Linda wrote to us and said: ‘Thank you for the amazing camera Natalie received. She has always wanted a camera that she can change the lens. She was so excited when it came she sent out to all her Facebook friends the news that it had arrived.’
We decided to get in touch with Natalie to find out how she was getting on with her new camera…
What model is your new Nikon camera?
It’s a Z50, NIKKOR ZDX 15mm-60mm kit.
Are you enjoying your new camera?
Yes! It’s awesome!
What’s the best bit about the camera?
It takes really good pictures!
What sort of pictures have you been taking on your new camera?
I have been taking pictures of nature, landscapes, and a local tourist town.
How happy are you to have your new camera?
Very happy! It’s great! I like going out with my mentor Jane and taking pictures. I also love taking pictures of my brother’s dog!
