Bird watching in Lockdown | Kate’s Blog

A woman fills bird feeders with seeds. She has Down's syndrome. One of the good things to come out of the lockdown is my discovery of the birds in our garden.

I have listed them : blue tits, great tits, longtail tits, great tits, a Dunnock. Male and female, blackbirds, robins, wrens, pigeons, a jay, a song thrush, coal tits, magpies and a green woodpecker.

One of my jobs is refilling the bird feeders often as the birds get through a large amount of seeds and nuts each week. The nests we have in the trunk of our crab apple tree seems to have a second brood of long tailed tits.

I am asking you how many birds have you seen in your garden?

Let me know.

Love Kate
