A trip to Richmond Park | Kate’s blog

The plantation is encircled by an iron fence to keep out the herds of deer and its famous for its wonderful displays of Rhododendrons and Azalea plants.

It was too early in the season and only a few plants were in bloom, but later in the month the whole place will be a display of colour.

The plantation also has many ancient trees, two large ponds teeming with wildlife and large areas of various types of heather. It is a wonderful place to visit.

This week I am back to my drama and dance classes; it was great to be with my friends again. We are a all still observing the covid rules.

Stay safe everyone, Kate.
