I am sorry I have missed my blogs lately, but unfortunately, I have been in hospital for a week to have my infected leg treated. An ambulance was called to my home and the paramedics decided it was best to be treated in hospital. I was taken to St Georges hospital in Tooting.
There I was cared for very well by the nursing staff, who were very kind, even so, I was glad to get back home. At home, I sent a thank you card to the ward thanking them for taking care of me.
I am still getting some pain from my leg and I need a walking frame to get about. A Physio visited and gave me a list of exercises I should carry out each day. Things are slowly getting better, I cannot wait to get back to my normal activities again, but I will have to be very patient.
