For the past week there has been a festival called Bright Land and it was held in the courtyard of Somerset House, which is in The Strand. There are different performances every day. We went along on Sunday. The first day appearing on stage was a troop called Drag Syndrome. we went along to support them as two of the performers are close friends of mine. Also on stage later in the day, were two well know actors, Tommy Jessop and Sarah Gordy who performed a modern dance routine. I enjoyed the day; it was great fun!
It had been a glorious day as we walked along the embankment to catch the train home. There was hundreds of people strolling along enjoying the evening sunshine. This Thursday my sister and I are going to see a show at Wimbledon theatre. I will tell you all about it next week.
