Survey on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children under 11 years old who have Down’s Syndrome

Professor Lakhanpaul and the team at UCL have teamed up with the Down’s Syndrome Association and Trisomy 21 Research Society to develop a survey to understand the impact that the pandemic has had on children under the age of 11 who have Down’s syndrome.

The research team would greatly appreciate completion by eligible parents/carers of the survey, found via this link: https://redcap.idhs.ucl.ac.uk/surveys/?s=AAJFERD88RF94NLF

The survey will take around 15 minutes and requires the participant to:

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Live in the UK
  • Live with a child under the age of 11 who has Down’s syndrome

We hope that this information will let us know how best to support children who have Down’s syndrome and their parents/carers going forward.

All data will be anonymous and protected under UK data protection laws, and the results of the study will be published on the Down’s Syndrome Association website next year.
