Caring for Somone with a Learning Disability

Are you a family caregiver for an adult or child with an intellectual disability (learning disability)?

Kate Barnes (Trainee Clinical Psychologist) and a research team, at the University of Edinburgh are doing a research study on wellbeing, stress and coping in people who are family caregivers and we are very interested in hearing from you.

The purpose of the study is to understand the role and relative strength of the construct of psychological flexibility, in relation to different aspects of being a family caregiver for someone with a learning disability, including stress, social support, and coping.

If you feel you could give us 30-40 minutes of your time to complete some questionnaires, this could help us know more about how to support people like you.

To find out more or take part, please visit the study website or drop Kate an email on K.E.Barnes@sms.ed.ac.uk.
