Supreme Court grants permission to appeal in case of Jackie Maguire

We welcome the Supreme Court’s decision (25 February 2022) to grant permission to appeal the decision of the Court of Appeal in the case of Jacqueline Maguire v HM Senior Coroner for Blackpool and Fylde.

Jackie died in 2017 and her mother has been fighting to have a new inquest opened into her daughter’s death.
