Skydive event raises whopping £63,000

We are delighted to report that our #50for50 skydive event raised more than £63,000!

We are so, so thankful for all those that braved the skies (and the rain!) to jump out of a plane for the DSA. The amount raised is absolutely phenomenal and we cannot thank you all enough.

The day itself was ‘challenging’ thanks to the inclement summer weather, but, everyone who was able to stay got to jump in the end, and we’d like to thank each and every person that made the day so special. It’s the first large, in-person fundraising event that the DSA has put on in almost two years due to the coronavirus pandemic and it was absolutely fantastic to see so many of our supporters smiling in the same place.

Some jumpers who weren’t able to stay until their delayed jump time have rescheduled. We do hope that they enjoyed the day and have an amazing experience when they’re able to take the plunge.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us; the volunteers who kept the day running smoothly, the companies who donated prizes for the raffle, the GoSkydive team and of course, the BIGGEST THANK YOU to the 50-plus people who jumped out of a plane and fundraised an amazing amount for the DSA!
