Guidance for people who are on the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable list in England from 19 July

Many of you will have been following the latest announcements about lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.

The Government in England has just released updated guidance for people who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable. Click here to read the full guidance.

Wales and Scotland will be issuing separate guidance later this week.

We will be attending a meeting with officials at the Department of Health and Social Care on Thursday and will be raising a number of issues, including the need for an announcement from JCVI about COVID19 vaccines for children (12-15 year olds).

You can find the definition of clinically extremely vulnerable groups here. Adults who have Down’s syndrome (aged over 18) were added to the list in November 2020.
