RunAcross

Relay run from Land’s End to John o’ Groats
to raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association and Down’s Syndrome Scotland

Meet Iris

My name is Iris, I am a 20 year old university student and I am organising a run from Land’s End to John O’ Groats to raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association and Down’s Syndrome Scotland.

The event is called RunAcross and will begin on World Down Syndrome Day (21 March)
and should last 14 days.

My little sister, Nancy, has inspired me to organise this charity event in aid of two wonderful charities. Viewing the world through Nancy’s eyes is one of the most beautiful parts of my life, she has taught me patience, kindness and unconditional love. She is my biggest blessing.

The aim of RunAcross is to spark a new conversation and show the world the capabilities of people with Down’s Syndrome. Thank you for taking the time to view my page.

Great idea and an honour to be asked to do my bit for the Run Across team and support the Down’s syndrome community with awareness and fundraising. Remember this is just about money, it’s about reminding people that there is a significant population who have Down’s syndrome and other learning disabilities that bring so much love and life to the world, and it’s in all our interests to take action to be more inclusive.

Eva Kupska
