Support Us : Lapland – The Husky Trail

Ever dreamt of driving your own team of spirited huskies across the Arctic, with civilisation left far behind? Well, now that dream can become a reality!

Join us on this, the most unique of charity events, as we spend six days sledding through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland for an experience you will never forget. Our charity challenge is to sled 250km from Norway, into Sweden through untouched nature, in order to finish at the world famous Ice Hotel (the original!) in Jukkasjarvi!

Our challenge begins in the Arctic city of Tromso, where we make our way to the Dog Sled Centre in order to meet our husky companions. After meeting and greeting our furry friends, we then dive straight into the spirit of adventure and spend our first night in a traditional Lavvo, surrounding the roaring fire.

Is this challenge for me?

ABSOLUTELY! This event is suitable for people of all ages (minimum 17 years old).  This event has been designed to be challenging, but achievable by anyone as long as you train beforehand. Remember, you are going to be on your feet for the majority of the day, as well as taking care of campsite duties – the fitter you are the more you will enjoy this challenge. Dog sledding can be arduous so a good cardio-vascular fitness is recommended.
