Support Us : Cycle Africa – Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro

Tackle this spectacular 350 km cycling challenge, providing the opportunity to experience some of Africa’s best mountains, diverse wildlife and spectacular national parks.

You will begin at Mount Killimanjaro, travelling across both Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks and then through Maasai villages to delve into some local culture. The tour will finish with a visit to the jaw-dropping UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Ngorongoro Crater Cycle.

Guide Itinerary:

Day 1 – Depart UK for our overnight flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.

Day 2 – Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to hotel. Bike fitting and briefing about challenge ahead.

Day 3 – Weru Weru Lodge to West Kilimanjaro, ending at the Olpopongi Maasai Village. Cycling distance – approx. 61km

Day 4 – West Kilimanjaro to Arusha. Cycling distance – approx. 81km

Day 5 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Cycling distance – approx. 98km

Day 6 – Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park. Cycling distance – approx. 66km

Day 7 – Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Gate. Cycling distance – approx. 39km. Optional safari drive. This evening we hold our celebratory meal.

Day 8 – Moshi – free morning to do as you wish. Afternoon transfer to airport for overnight flight back to UK

Day 9 – Arrive UK
