Support Us : 50 Companies For Our 50th

Since 1970 the DSA has worked to break down the barriers people with Down’s syndrome face by raising awareness of the condition and providing much needed services and resources.

The DSA is now approaching its 50th anniversary in 2020 and there has been a genuine sea-change in attitudes to people with learning difficulties from 50 years ago.  A child born with Down’s syndrome today can expect to benefit from good education, to set up a home and find a job and to live comfortably into their 60s.  There is still much work to be done but the DSA continues to punch above its weight by raising awareness and continuing to support people with Down’s syndrome.

Support from companies and organisations is vital to enable us to continue our work in transforming the lives of children and adults with Down’s syndrome.

We are inviting companies to support the DSA’s special 50th anniversary appeal with a view to getting 50 companies onboard to support the charity with financial donations.

If you have any contacts at companies who would welcome contact from the DSA for possible support do let us know by simply emailing info@downs-syndrome.org.uk.
