My mum taught me taught me to read when I was little.
When I was younger I used to read a book called Dogger by Shirley Hughes. My favourite book to read growing up was Charlie and The Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. I liked the book because it was funny and witty and because it had funny illustrations.
My favourite author is Hans Christian Anderson because I like the way he describes his stories. I like a mixture of fantasy stories or family stories.
My favourite poet is T.S Elliot. He is my favourite because I find his poems clever. I like The Naming of Cats and the musical Cats.
I am currently reading Stig of the Dump by Clive King. Next I am going to read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling.
I try to read to read during the day and at night.
I like reading because it’s enjoyable and fun and I like to have time to read each day.
