For Families and Carers : Supported Living Video Series

More and more people with Down’s syndrome are leaving the family home and moving into supported living. Many families have contacted our helpline to ask what life in supported living is like. To help you prepare, we have created this series of short films on life in supported living. The films follow the journeys of  5 adults with Down’s syndrome who enjoy life in their own home. We follow their daily lives and how they got to where they are now. Each video focuses on a different perspective: a parent, support workers and people who live in the house themselves. To find out more about supported living, take a look at our supported living resources.
