Our Advanced Clinical Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, Gwendolina Toner, has created the following guides on the role of Speech and Language Therapists for children who have Down’s syndrome. Click on the headings below to download the documents.
These guidelines apply to all babies, pre-school children and primary aged children who have Down’s syndrome and live in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. They supersede and replace any previous speech and language therapy guidelines for this age group published by the DSA.
