For Families and Carers : Incapacity Benefit

Incapacity Benefit used to be the benefit you claimed if you were sick or disabled and unable to work.  It has now been replaced by Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).  Most people on Incapacity Benefit have now been transferred to ESA.
