We are looking to appoint an Information Officer to expand an established team providing information, training and support to people with Down’s syndrome, their families and the education, health and social care professionals who work with them. This varied role includes providing training for teachers and other practitioners, giving support through our information helpline, creating information resources and contributing to our Having a Voice groups. The post will suit someone with a professional qualification or background in education, learning disability, health care, social care, child development or adult advocacy. Some travel, overnight stays and weekend working is required.
