About Down's Syndrome : Parent/Carer Meeting: Down’s Syndrome with Complex Needs including Autism Spectrum Condition 

Our parent meetings enable parents and specialists to share information, experiences and gives an opportunity to guide DSA work. We are very pleased to be able to offer the parent /carer meeting as an online session, adapted from our regular offering.

This meeting will include a presentation on particular behaviours related to refusal including:

  • running away
  • task avoidance
  • stop and flop.

There will also be plenty of time for questions and general discussion in a small and friendly group.
