About Down's Syndrome : Down’s syndrome with Complex Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition

Venue: Langdon Down Centre, Teddington, TW11 9PS.

Meeting for family members of children and adults who have Down’s syndrome and dual diagnosis of autism spectrum condition, or other complex needs.

Interested professionals also welcome.

In the morning, Alex Rawle, Manager of DSActive will talk and answer questions on Nutrition, Weight & Eating issues.

In the afternoon Jane Mitchell, Learning Disability Nurse and Mindfulness teacher, will lead a session on Caring for yourself.

A member of the DSA Information team will also be available.

This family and parent carer meeting also gives time for people to talk to each other, share information and offer support in an informal atmosphere.
