Training

What we do

The Down's Syndrome Association can provide a fully bespoke training service to professionals, families and all those working with and supporting children and adults with Down's syndrome.

We enhance the skills and confidence of professionals across health, education and social care by designing and delivering training that is accessible, inspirational and practical and responds to the continuing professional development needs of those who support people with Down's syndrome and their families.

We also work with employers and other individuals and groups who come into contact with people with Down's syndrome in order that they have access to the best advice, information and support.

Our work is improving the experiences of children and adults with Down's syndrome and those people who are in their lives both in the UK and abroad. We work closely with our colleagues and families in other countries to provide training that meets their individual needs and embraces the work expertise of our network of advisers and researchers from around the world.
