The Chase Lodge Hotel situated in Hampton Wick has teamed up to support national charity; the Down's Syndrome Association located in Teddington. The hotel has offered £2,000 worth of free accommodation for staff and guests of the Association. These guests often include speakers participating in conferences and experts on Down's syndrome from around the world at their national headquarters at the Langdon Down Centre.
Robert Young, Administrator of the Chase Lodge Hotel said,
"As a small company struggling to survive in a difficult economic climate, we understand the importance of supporting our neighbours and are we are delighted to work to support the work of the Down's Syndrome Association."
Robert's sentiment was echoed by Lesley Alabaf, Langdon Down Centre Manager of the Down's Syndrome Association explaining that "As a result of the support of The Chase Lodge Hotel we will be able to bring in experts and specialists to help us continue to help people with Down's syndrome live full and rewarding lives without the additional costs of lodging. Their generous support will make a huge impact."
