Specialist Disability Employment Services
This consultation outlined ideas to improve the specialist support from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to help disabled people enter and/or retain employment.
The proposals included:
1. A new programme to replace the Job Introduction Scheme, Work Preparation and WORKSTEP.
2. To enhance the role of Disability Employment Advisers (found in JobCentres) in relation to the specialist employment programmes.
There were 28 questions on a range of aspects.
