Blue Badge Scheme

The Dept for Transport asked for views on the possible extension of the scheme to include individuals with the most severe mental and behavioural disorders that require physical contact ('attention') to cross the road safely.

Views were sought on:

1. the Scheme's assessed eligibility criteria
2. the possible impact of any changes,
3. administration and enforcement of regulations issues.
