On Thursday 15th September at the 2011 Bloomberg Square Mile Relay, the Macquarie Bank team edged out 115 competing teams to take 1st place and the grand prize of £5,000 donated to a charity of their choice – the team picked the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA).

Intrepid Owain Harris has completed his first big fundraising challenge - to cycle the length of Britain in aid of the Down's Syndrome Association.
Owain, aged 28 from Cardiff, began the gruelling 917.7 mile route on 22nd April, when he cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End to help raise important funds for the Down's Syndrome Association - a charity Owain and his family support deeply and avidly admire.
He set his sights high and completed the challenge in nine days hoping to raise £1,000.
Owain learnt more about the work of the Down's Syndrome Association when the charity entered his life at such a crucial moment.

The voice of Chesham's new town crier echoed through the streets today at his official proclamation to the public.
William Ellis aged 32 who has Down's syndrome, was introduced to the public by Oxford City and Banbury town crier Anthony Church outside the United Reformed Church, in Broadway, Chesham, at noon.
